Doing airport runs...
Making 70 of these, from this recipe...
Having my cake and eating it too...
Pretending not to hate weddings...
Running after this little midget...
And trying to put a demonic flu behind me...
What have you been up to?

Oh my goodness. I hope you get that flu all the way gone soon. Love the cartoon. So great.
ReplyDeleteThanks Happy Whisk - the flu is still here! And what mighty Frankengerms they are... can't get rid of them!
DeleteNew job, ran my first 10km race with 20 obstacles. The usual stuff.
ReplyDeleteGreat stuff Tony VH. I can barely run 10Km's, never mind WITH obstacles. Kudos for that!
Deleteplaying mom to three kittens.
ReplyDeletetrying to do arty things artfully.
trying valiantly to get a good nights sleep.
I reckon that getting a good nights sleep rank highly on most of our agenda's Sham. Pity it's not easier to come by. Elmyra hugs to the kitties ;)
DeleteAside from that flu, your recent past looks much lovelier than mine! Hope you feel better soon.
ReplyDeleteThanks Roving Retorter - and life in NYC can never be so mundane.
DeleteWell medicating an internal break, which now means surgery next Friday. Recovering and collecting and dropping off my niece every day.
ReplyDeleteLemme know when you're keen for Strawberry sushi. Will make a plan.
*Sterkte* for the surgery Aasia, sounds scary. Let's do Strawberry Sushi when you're well on the mend!
DeleteChocolate can cure the flu. And everything else that ails you.
ReplyDeleteYes that's true LL. But I've had no appetite for Chocolate. I know *shock* *gasp*... and that's how one knows I'm really truly sick.
Deletethose look delish! keeping busy is good and get well soon.
ReplyDeleteThanks Jaya. I like keeping busy only if the "busy" is something I enjoy doing.
DeleteAwww! I hope you're okay while reading my comment. You've done a lot hahaha ;)
ReplyDeleteThanks Debie Grace. I feel much better, but still have a long way to go to fully recover.
DeleteAzra - you made 70 cakes? SEVENTY? I love you - you are my new hero.
ReplyDeleteYes 70 Jules. To be fair, they are smaller than they look. I'd happily make you one while we're sipping cocktails on the beach in Bora Bora :)
DeleteSeventy? That's quite an achievement, Az. Maybe I should try and come up with a recipe for a delicious blue cake. What do you think? Jules loves you, but I still outlove her as in infinity plus infinity plus one ;) Anyway, hope the flu is about to leave the building. The only thing I like about a seriously demonic flu that makes you sweat like a hotdog is it always takes a few pounds off my butt... I mean.. off my six-pack in disguise. ;)
ReplyDeleteGrumpy Randy... was wondering where you are. And yes, do come up with your own blue cake recipe (that will make us grumpy people happy - perhaps with some of your current native ingredients *wink wink*). I'm still far from recovering, and I wish I didn't feel like a whale *female problems sigh*
DeleteHere I am! Now where's my cake? Wink wink. So you feel like a whale? Could be worse. You could feel like a man ;)
Deleteor like a walrus, which often happens to moi :)
DeleteWe need more weed in the cake Randy.
DeleteHaha DEZ, sometimes there is that distinct Walrus feeling - but it only lasts for a few minutes before the Whale feeling returns.
70 lemon cheesecakes?!
ReplyDeleteTHAT'S A SERIOUS ACCOMPLISHMENT, LADY.
I am very, very impressed.
Thanks Iris, for this batch I chose Raspberry flavour - lemon is better though :)
DeleteHope you feeling better Az, anyway you are working so much, take it easy, Im busy and really tired and Im worry by my Mom, I dont know she is well but these days I feel her depressed:( and my Dad is a disaster, so I pray, hope you feeling well,
ReplyDelete(I dont like weddings too:)
Thank you Gloria - I'm not 100% better, but hopefully will be soon! Hope your Mom and Dad get better!
DeleteThanks Az Im worry about my Mom:(
Deletethose cakes look lovely, Azra!
ReplyDeleteThank you Dezmond. The cakes proved to be popular and were heartily consumed until there was nothing left.
